In the Summer of 2017, Seth Inked his First Professional Contract with the Alpine Cowboys Professional Baseball Team in the Pecos League. In Seth’s first year of professional baseball, he helped the Cowboys make it to the Championship series but fell short. 2018 was Seth’s final year of Professional Baseball with the Ottawa Champions in the Can/Am league and then back to the Cowboys where he had an All-Star & MVP season while also serving as the team’s closer.

Since Seth’s playing career he has continued to stay in the baseball world, coaching two years at his alma mater and training hundreds of athletes privately to now being the Owner of 802 Baseball Lab in Saint Albans VT & Plattsburgh NY!

Seth Douglas is the original co-creator of 802 Baseball Lab. Seth grew up in Reedsburg, Wisconsin learning the game of baseball from his father, a private baseball trainer, and high school baseball coaches. Seth was a late bloomer in the baseball world, he had small stints in t-ball and machine pitch but then didn’t see baseball till 6-7 years later in his sophomore year of High School. Seth has played every position on the field, mainly spending most of his career at the corner positions in the infield. 

Seth’s playing career consists of High School, NAIA Division 2, NCAA Division 3, and Professionally in Independent Professional Baseball. In High School Seth received All-Conference & All-State honors his Junior & Senior year while varsity lettering in all 3 years. Seth was then recruited to play at Bemidji State University going 1-1 with a double in his only plate appearance his Freshman year. Seth found his arm in college and started throwing and threw 8.1 innings with a 1.08 ERA at BSU. For Seth’s sophomore – senior year, he transferred to SUNY Canton and that’s where his career took off.  Career batting average of .377 and holding multiple school records in Hit, Homeruns, RBI’s, and Slugging %.
