Tom Neale - Softball, Hitting, Pitching Trainer (Plattsburgh)


Tom Neale is a seasoned baseball and softball coach with a rich history in the North Country. As a standout shortstop and pitcher at Plattsburgh High School, Neale earned three first-team Champlain Valley Athletic Conference all-star selections. He continued his baseball career at the College of St. Rose, excelling as both an infielder and pitcher, before graduating with a degree in education.

Neale's post-college playing career saw him become the all-time leader in wins in Champlain Valley Baseball League history, as well as earning Most Outstanding Pitcher honors with the Burlington A's in the Vermont Northern League. He has dedicated over two decades to coaching at Clinton Community College and four years as an assistant coach for the Northern Devils softball team.

In addition to his coaching career, Neale is the education coordinator at the Ted K. Center in Plattsburgh. His accolades include being named Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Most Outstanding Player, Burlington A's Most Outstanding Pitcher, and induction into both the Plattsburgh High School Athletic Hall of Fame and the Clinton County Mariners Hall of Fame.
